London’s cycling priority trial follows Cambridge and York

I and my colleagues read with some interest the article on TfL’s newly trialled traffic signal for cyclists (‘Accident blackspot chosen to trial traffic signal priority for cyclists’ LTT 13 Apr).  While this is good news, I’m afraid it isn’t one of the UK’s first as Cambridge has had a similar configuration for a number of years now and we in York have something similar, which is an additional light on an existing signal giving cyclists up to five...
