Metro or regional rail? TfL maps Crossrail 2 options

Transport for London has outlined  options for building Crossrail 2 – the Chelsea-Hackney link – as an automatic metro railway, or as a regional railway that would open up new journey opportunities between settlements beyond the capital.

 The automatic metro option would see the line link Clapham Junction (relieving Waterloo and the Victoria line) with Seven Sisters. Intermediate stations are envisaged at King’s Road (Chelsea), Victoria, Piccadilly Circus, Tottenham...
