You seem to have given over your 'Viewpoint' page to people who are trying to rubbish transport modelling! Controversy is all very well but it would be more interesting if the commentary was properly informed. Instead, it is tending towards the hysterical. Barry Hutton's attack on the National Transport Model ('The National Transport Model's treatment of traffic flow is fundamentally flawed and hampers policy-making to reduce urban congestion' LTT 16 May) is a classic case of 'A little learning...
