Breeze MaaS app switched off as DfT funding ends

The Breeze Mobility?as?a?Service (MaaS) transport app has shut down following the end of DfT funding. The app ran for a three-year trial period as part of the Solent Future Transport Zone (FTZ). The planning, booking and payment was launched across Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight in October 2022, with customers using it to unlock an e-scooter, hire a bike or e-bike and check bus and rail timetables to plan your route. In 2024 the service was extended to hovercraft and Isle of Wight ferry bookings,  including foot passenger ferry tickets.
