DfT revives Surrey M25 traffic project
The Highways Agency and Surrey County Council are to revive work on an demand management scheme to improve the co-ordination of traffic management between the M25 and local roads. The DfT says it is keen to co-operate with Surrey on the project. “There has been extensive technological progress since the project was first proposed in 2003, and this needs to be taken into account,” it says in response to the House of Commons transport committee’s traffic management inquiry....
