Green bus service for Sunderland

A new hybrid city centre bus service is to be launched in Sunderland in September, funded by DfT grant, Sunderland City Council, Nexus, and Sunderland University. The half-hourly service on Mondays to Saturdays will link retail, business, cultural, university and leisure sites. The vehicles are being funded by the city council and the DfT’s Green Bus fund.
