Speed limit cut and parking levy ‘just options’ to cut CO2 – ministers
The Scottish Government this week played down the likelihood of introducing lower speed limits, workplace parking levies and eco-driving lessons to cut the nation’s carbon dioxide emissions.
A Scottish Government briefing paper lists all of the policies as being “under consideration” as Scottish ministers grapple with how to achieve their Climate Change Act targets to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2020 (against 1990 levels).
