Greenwich studies extending DLR
The London Borough of Greenwich is to commission a feasibility study into extending the Docklands Light Railway to Falconwood. The study will consider the case for extending the DLR from Silvertown on the north bank of the Thames across to the Greenwich peninsula and then down via the A2 corridor through Kidbrooke and Eltham to Falconwood. The council expects the study to cost £50,000-£70,000 and wants the final report completed by May.
