The oil running out is an even bigger threat than climate change!

I fully agree with Richard George’s well-focused comments on the implications of climate change (ibid). But it’s not just climate change that should drive our thinking on what transport and spatial planning approach can secure us an acceptable future. Energy depletion, I would argue, is actually far more threatening, certainly in the short term.
