Five criteria for 20mph camera trial
Transport for London has set out the criteria it plans to use to identify trial sites for camera-enforced 20mph speed limits.
Boroughs will have to meet five criteria if they want to be part of the trial:
The area should have a history of reported casualties
There should be a recognised ‘rat run’ route through the area
There should be no existing physical traffic calming measures within the area
There should be a maximum of three entry/exit points to be covered...
