Cash boost for housing-related transport schemes

Bus schemes, road improvements and pedestrian and cycle bridges are among the 29 transport projects that will share £170.5m of Community Infrastructure Funding announced by the Government.

The CIF is administered by the Department for Communities and Local Government and the DfT and supports schemes needed to deliver new housing development.

Four awards exceed £10m:

a conditional £21m for Norfolk’s Postwick Hub project (see above)
