End of the road for humps says Johnson
Boris Johnson has written to London boroughs amplifying his views that road humps are an outdated form of traffic calming (LTT 14 Nov).
In the letter announcing boroughs’ Local Implementation Plan settlements, Johnson says: “In delivering the projects covered by the funding received from TfL, and other projects where relevant, the mayor encourages you to consider alternatives to road humps or fewer road humps where this is feasible and practical in terms of outcomes.”...
