Welsh councils to get new walking and cycling duty
Welsh local authorities could be given a new duty to develop a network of walking and cycling routes after Assembly members backed the idea.
The National Assembly for Wales' Enterprise and Learning Committee has agreed to progress the 'Legislative Competence Order' of Sustrans Cymru.
