You report that the RAC Foundation has endorsed the Transport Innovation Fund package for Greater Manchester on the grounds that it "offers a better future for the local people and the Manchester economy than the do-nothing alternative" ('Political stakes raised as Kelly backs Manchester TIF Package' LTT 13 Jun).
