A66 Surtees Bridge, Stockton on Tees

The A66 Surtees Bridge was officially opened this week by transport minister Tom Harris. The 145-metre span steel and concrete bridge which carries the A66 over the River Tees, has been rebuilt and widened to three lanes in each direction to accommodate new slip roads linking it to the South Stockton Link Road that opened in 2005.
