Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Fixed-term for three years (with potential to extend)

Five major transport schemes have reached Department for Transport Programme Entry across the West of England Sub-Region. Project and Programme Governance has been established to take forward these schemes.

We are seeking a project manager with significant experience of delivering challenging and complex projects to take forward the South Bristol Link, one of the five sub-regional major transport schemes. Details of this £45m major transport scheme which is being jointly promoted by North Somerset and Bristol City Councils can be found at:

The role will involve working closely with senior management, sub-regional partners, contractors and elected members to ensure that the highest standards are achieved within the constraints of time and budget. We are looking for an individual who can bring a leadership track record in the field of major projects with experience of project management principles and practice to undertake the most complex projects.
