Planning for the future is a top priority – and our Group Strategy department has a key role to play in that. Working together with other stakeholders such as train operating companies and government departments, we're responsible for producing integrated long-term plans to secure funding and shape a rail network ready for the demands of tomorrow.
Join this dynamic team and you’ll have every opportunity to use your skills and energy to the full. Your challenge in this key role will be to develop route plans which provide a clear picture of the capability and use of specified routes, making sure at all times that maintenance and renewal plans are consistent.
You'll need:
Experience of network strategy and business planning
Understanding of infrastructure issues influencing capacity
Good relationship management skills
Strong commercial and financial awareness
