Old Eurostar platforms could increase capacity

the waterloo platforms vacated by Eurostar’s move to St Pancras could mean increased capacity for rail but they need to be used as soon as possible, London Travelwatch has urged.

The watchdog has said the Department for Transport needs to make a decision on how the now redundant platforms will be connected to the domestic rail network, so as to benefit passengers, expand domestic services and improve capacity.
