Trains to run 90% on time in two years

In two years virtually every London commuter train operator and every regional train operator will run 90% of services on time, according to new forecasts from Network Rail. The exceptions, First Capital Connect and London Midland, will be achieving

punctuality of over 89%.

If the forecasts are achieved, it will mark a significant change in the consistency of service offered across the railway. Currently, seven commuter and regional TOCs are running less than 90% of trains on time.
