Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) has allocated more than £20m to further develop its integrated Bee Network across the city region. This will include more School Streets, cycling infrastructure, new crossings, improved pavements and an expansion of the cycle hire scheme.

The improvements will be paid for by Active Travel England money and Consolidated Active Travel Fund.
