Mayor Boris Johnson yesterday refused to meet union bosses in talks aimed at averting the 48-hour Tube strike.
His refusal increased the chances of the walkout going ahead from 7pm on Tuesday June 9.
The strike would close the entire network, which is used by 3.5 million passengers a day, and could cost the capital's businesses £100 m in lost production...
