London Midland to hold RMT strike talks

Train operator London Midland says that it is to hold further talks with the RMT union, despite it calling two 24-hour strikes next week. Some senior conductor’s working at depots in Watford, Bletchley and Northampton will strike on Tuesday and Thursday in a dispute over pay. However, managing director Stephen Banaghan said: “It is regrettable that so far these efforts have not met with agreement.We will meet them again for further talks.”...
