Public transport is better value

Public transport offers better value for money than usually stated. These are the findings of a focus paper by UITP, the international association of public transport, on the assessment of the benefits of public transport.

It says that current appraisal techniques do not do justice to the full benefits public transport schemes provide to the wider economy.
