Aberdeen withdraws card option in pay & display car parks

Drivers will be able to pay by cash or via phone

Card payment functions have been removed from pay & display machines in Aberdeenshire car parks, but cashless parking is still available via RingGo phone system. The card payment function was withdrawn due to a change in legislation relating to cashless payment security and the high cost associated with the upgrade of the machines.
