Parking patrol team to be scrapped by Stockton-on-Tees council

Stockton-on-Tees council is to axe its parking patrol team as part of cost-cutting measures. The council’s six civil enforcement officers (CEOs) will be merged into a new team of ‘civic enforcement officers’ along with four anti-social behaviour officers and 14 neighbourhood enforcement officers. New staff will be given a wider remit, with four members of staff will be made redundant.
