Greenwich GATEway will road test driverless pods

The first driverless cars to be tested on the streets of London will be a development of automated passenger shuttles used at Heathrow Airport. The GATEway group has yet to unveil the exact design but confirmed that the adapted vehicles will not run on dedicated tracks.

The pods will be tested by GATEway, the Greenwich Automated Transport Environment project.
