The Supreme Court will hand down its judgment on ParkingEye v Beavis on 4 November.
The case marks the final stage of motorist Barry Beavis’s appeal against a parking charge notice issued by ParkingEye for an hour’s overstay in a retail car park.
Beavis, argues that the levying of an £85 charge for an hour’s overstay in a free car park was disproportionate and unlawful.
