BPA stalwart John Foster passes away

John Foster, former editor of the British Parking Association’s magazine and a well known figure in UK parking, has passed away aged 84.

Foster career in parking started in 1974 when he joined Godwin Warren Control Systems. He became the company’s sales director in 1984 and played a key role in introducing pay-on-foot technology to the UK.

He entered the world of consultancy in 1988 and remained active in the sector until he retired in 2003.
