There has been a sharp rise in the number of cars clamped and towed away by the DVLA since changes to car tax rules, The Guardian has reported. The newspaper says people are “unwittingly falling foul” of the changes introduced in October 2014 when the DVLA scrapped paper vehicle excise duty discs.
