A south London man was given a suspended jail sentence after fraudulently attempting to evade parking tickets.
Nathan Grant from Streatham appealed against three penalty charge notices (PCNs) issued on his vehicles by the London Borough of Lambeth. He presented the council with garage invoices claiming that the vehicles had broken down.
An investigation by council officers showed the invoices to be false, leading to Grant being prosecuted. He denied the charges of fraud and the case was heard...
