Seeking balance can be unfair

Year after year the parking appeals services maintain a ‘50:50 win:lose’ ratio. In fact, local authorities should be winning more cases than drivers, but that would not play well with the public

The current parking adjudication service is probably no longer fit for purpose. The cause of the problem, ironically, lies in a desire to promote a vision of the appeals services as being fair and impartial.
