A Mercedes that built up more than £10,000 in unpaid parking charges after it was left in a Birmingham car park for almost three years has finally been towed.

The dusty, black car appeared to have been abandoned at the 1,400-space Broadway Plaza car park, off Five Ways in 2012. 

The car was unlocked, which enabled car park operator APCOA Parking (UK) to find a service history that showed a Coventry address. However, there was no response to letters sent to that address. After checks...
