Leicester considers pavement parking ban

Leicester City Council is considering a citywide ban on pavement parking. A consultation finished at the end of April, with around 300 people responding and 130 sending in pictures of inconsiderately parked vehicles.

At present, civil enforcement officers (CEOs) can only issue fines to motorists who park on the pavement on streets where there are double yellow lines or other waiting restrictions.
