Car park charges in Selby, North Yorkshire, are to rise following a three-year price freeze. Selby District Council said that a review of pricing structure would see a modest increase in charges at council-owned pay & display car parks.
A one-hour short stay would rise by 10p to 50p, with three-hours long stay car parking rising 20p to £2.70. The move follows a significant increase in car park running costs.
