Employers are being encouraged by the government to make it more attractive for their staff to cycle to work. Companies are being asked to sign up to the “Cycle to Work Guarantee”.
The Cycle to Work scheme was launched in 1999 to promote healthier journeys to work. At its heart is a tax incentive that offsets the cost of cycling equipment through the Cycle to Work scheme against income tax.
