The London Borough of Hounslow and NSL Services Group implemented a CCTV scheme which combats crime, anti-social behaviour and enforces parking – Joint Winner

After consultation with the local community in 2009, the London Borough of Hounslow’s council members announced ten new pledges to residents. ‘Promise 10’ included a pledge to improve community safety in six areas of the borough. The pledge included a commitment to upgrade the existing 24 cameras in and around Hounslow Town centre, and install an additional 120 cameras to supplement the 50 cameras that had been installed in and around the borough for traffic enforcement...
