A new dedicated police team is tackling stolen and vandalised bikes across London

A 30-strong Police Cycle Task Force has taken to the streets of London. The Cycle Task Force is funded by Transport for London (TfL) and will become part of the Metropolitan Police Service's Safer Transport Command team. They will patrol London's streets by bike, investigating and tackling cycle theft and criminal damage to bicycles.
