Electric vehicle software company Monta and infrastructure provider SWARCO have developed protocols in response to new UK regulations.
From 30 December all chargepoints sold in the UK must meet security requirements consistent with the existing cyber security standard ETSI EN 303 645.
Chargepoints must also incorporate safety provisions, preventing the user from carrying out an operation which could risk the health or safety of a person.
