If it were not already a trademark, French state railway operator SNCF must have been tempted to call their latest TGV service “easyTGV” so closely does it mirror many of the practices of low-cost airlines. Instead, “TGV Ouigo” is the chosen name for a new product that is planned to make high speed train travel cheaper for for SNCF to operate as well as for passengers.
