Door-to-door journeys

The Door-to-Door Journeys Working Group set up by former transport secretary Geoff Hoon will publish its detailed report at a special conference on June 24. The event is being run in association with the Association of Train Operating Companies and the Confederation of Passenger Transport. Will the report show how to avoid the government’s concern that growth in rail travel may stall due to actual or perceived problems in getting to and from the station?
