Lawyer claims legal action will result in more 20mph zones

The Corporation of London is to reconsider plans for a 20mph zone in the City, following legal action which it is claimed could have significant impact on wider introduction of 20mph limits.

The corporation had initially proposed a 20mph zone for 2005, and received £170,000 from Transport for London to implement the project, before abandoning it.
