MFG to spend £400m on ultra-rapid charger network

Independent forecourt operator Motor Fuel Group (MFG) has appointed Energy Assets Networks (EAN) as an infrastructure partner to support the roll-out of a nationwide ultra-fast EV charging network.

MFG is to invest £400m in installing 3,000 ultra-rapid 150kW and 350kW EV chargepoints at 500 sites across the UK by 2030.

The programme underpins MFG’s dual-fuel strategy to enable a transition from fossil fuels to electric vehicles to help decarbonise the economy.
