Inverness-Newcastle air service gets aid

The Scottish Executive has awarded funding to support a new air service between Inverness and Newcastle. The undisclosed amount of funding from the Executive's Route Development Fund will enable Eastern Airways to operate a six days a week 29-seat service between the two cities from 5 June this year.
