Portsmouth records ‘near-miss’ incidents to inform road safety

Portsmouth City Council is collecting data on ‘near-miss’ incidents from cyclists and pedestrians to inform road safety activities.

The council is running a pilot near miss reporting system for cyclists and has just approved a trial to collect pedestrian near miss data too.
