We may have hit peak cycle – City of London

The growth of cycle trips in the City of London appears to have halted, according to the City of London Corporation.  

The City’s biennial traffic counts recorded a 292 per cent rise in cycling volumes  since 1999. But volumes in the 2014 count were down on 2012  and, although they rose again in  2016, volumes fell again in an additional count held in 2017. 

The counts are conducted in October/November and record traffic flows at 15 points in the City....
