Boroughs plan joint road contracts

The London Borough of Richmond is extending four highway term contracts until the end of April 2019 to allow a joint procurement for replacement contracts with its neighbour Wandsworth. 

Richmond and Wandsworth created a joint workforce in 2016 as part of a savings plan and the councils have already run a number of joint procurements in other areas.
