Work permits urged to fill modelling jobs

The Government should  make it easier for consultants to recruit transport modellers from overseas to fill a skills gap in the UK, a modelling recruitment consultant says this week.  

Writing in LTT, Fred Ewing of Meridian Business Support says the country has an acute shortage of strategic transport modellers, with consultants poaching staff from each other and driving up salaries to unsustainable levels.
