New cycle lanes planned for one of York’s busiest roads have been approved by the council’s transport and planning executive
The proposal would result in the loss of six parking spaces on the Holgate Road during the day and nine at night, to help improve the cycle route. Another 10 spaces would be restricted to use by local residents only – or for stays of up to an hour.
