Oxfordshire County Council is to withdraw all subsidised bus services support on 20 July. The council currently spends £3.7m a year on supporting 118 bus routes. Some routes are entirely dependent on subsidy, in other cases the council pays for particular services on the routes. The council is in discussion with operators about whether some services can be commercialised. Services funded by Section 106 developer contributions are unaffected....
