Average speed cameras have virtually eliminated speeding on the single carriageway sections of the A9 between Dunblane and Inverness, according to new monitoring data.
The SPECS3 equipment supplied by Vysionics cameras went live on the single carriageway sections of the road last October (LTT31 Oct 14). In a new report, the A9 Safety Group says compliance levels are running at in excess of 99.96 per cent.
